The Technical Transportation Advisory Committee is an advisory body to the Santa Barbara County Association of Governments.  TTAC members include staff representatives of each city, the county, Caltrans, APCD, and the Santa Barbara Metropolitan Transit District

 In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations to participate in the meeting should contact SBCAG at least three working days prior to the scheduled meeting.

 
1.     CALL TO ORDER AND INTRODUCTIONS
   
2. PUBLIC COMMENT
 

The public may address the Technical Transportation Advisory Committee on any subject within the jurisdiction of the committee that is not included as part of the agenda.  Comments shall be limited to fifteen minutes, divided among those desiring to speak, but no person shall speak longer than five minutes. 

   
3. MINUTES
  Approve the minutes of December 18, 2008.
  Receive the meeting summary of January 8, 2009.
4. UNMET TRANSIT NEEDS
  Receive report on unmet transit needs input received by SBCAG.
   
5. TDA/LTF APPORTIONMENTS
  Approve the estimated apportionments of Local Transportation Funds to local agencies
for fiscal year 2009-2010.
   
6. MEASURE A STRATEGIC PLAN
  Recommend the SBCAG board authorize the release of an RFP to prepare the Measure A Strategic Plan.
   
7. MEASURE D REVENUE ESTIMATES
  Receive Measure D Revenue Estimates for the final nine-month period:
July 2009 - March 2010.
   
8. SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL CALL FOR PROJECTS
  Receive information on the Safe Routes to School state funding program.
   
9. TRAFFIC COUNT PROGRAM
  Commit to enhanced traffic count program for April 2010 to coincide with US decennial Census.
   
10. FEDERAL ECONOMIC STIMULUS
  A. Receive information on the proposed draft Federal Economic Stimulus bill.
  B. Approve allocation methodology for transit capital and roadway stimulus funding.
   
11. ANNOUNCEMENTS
  Follow up \ additional information from Caltrans Grant Workshop of February 4 in San Luis Obispo (flyer attached)
