The Technical Transportation Advisory Committee is an advisory body to the Santa Barbara County Association of Governments.  TTAC members include staff representatives of each city, the county, Caltrans, APCD, and the Santa Barbara Metropolitan Transit District

 In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations to participate in the meeting should contact SBCAG at least three working days prior to the scheduled meeting.

 

1.     CALL TO ORDER AND INTRODUCTIONS
   
2. PUBLIC COMMENT
 

The public may address the Technical Transportation Advisory Committee on any subject within the jurisdiction of the committee that is not included as part of the agenda.  Comments shall be limited fifteen minutes, divided among those desiring to speak, but no person shall speak longer than five minutes. 

   
3. MINUTES
  Approve the minutes of January 3, 2008.
4. TWO-YEAR MEASURE D REVENUE ESTIMATES
  Receive Measure D Revenue Estimates for the two-year period beginning with the 2008-2009 fiscal year.
   
5. FY 2008-2009 TDA/LTF APPORTIONMENTS
  Approve the estimated apportionments of Local Transportation Funds to local agencies for the 2008-2009 fiscal year.
   
6. RSTP & LSTP FUND BALANCE
  Receive an update on programmed funds from the Regional Surface Transportation Program (RSTP) and Local Surface Transportation Program (LSTP) that may be claimed from SBCAG by local agencies.
   
7. PROP. 1B HIGHWAY/RAILROAD CROSSING SAFETY PROGRAMS
   Receive a report on funding available from Proposition 1B Highway/Railroad Crossing Safety Program.
 
8. HIGHWAY 101 TRAFFIC CONGESTION SENSORS
  Recommend that SBCAG sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Ventura County Transportation Commission (VCTC) to partner on the installation of traffic congestion sensors along Highway 101 on the South Coast for the purpose of communicating travel information to Caltrans' Traffic Management Centers and publicly accessible websites.
   
9. STATE HIGHWAY OPERATIONS AND PROTECTION PROGRAM (SHOPP)
  Receive information regarding Caltrans Programmed/Funded SHOPP projects.
   
10. UNMET TRANSIT NEEDS
  Receive report on unmet transit needs input received by SBCAG.
   
11. STATE CLIMATE ACTION PROGRAM
  Receive information from Caltrans regarding the State Climate Action Program.
