The Technical Planning Advisory Committee is an advisory body to the Santa Barbara County Association of Governments.  TPAC members include staff representatives of each city, the county, and APCD.

 In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations to participate in the meeting should contact SBCAG at least three working days prior to the scheduled meeting.

1.     CALL TO ORDER AND INTRODUCTIONS
   
2. PUBLIC COMMENT
 

The public may address the Technical Planning Advisory Committee on any subject within the jurisdiction of the committee that is not included as part of the agenda.  Comments shall be limited fifteen minutes, divided among those desiring to speak, but no person shall speak longer than five minutes.

  Approve the minutes of September 6, 2007.

2008 STATE TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM

  Receive an update regarding the STIP fund estimate, funding cycle schedule, status report on a potential call for projects for STIP-TE funding and discuss next steps for programming funds.
 
5. MEASURE D LOCAL PROGRAM OF PROJECTS
  Adopt a submittal format for local agencies to use the approving and submitting future POP's to SBCAG.
   
6. PROPOSITION 1B TRANSIT FUNDING
  Receive information on availability of Proposition 1B funding for transit capital projects.
   
7. BICYCLE TRANSPORTATION ACCOUNT FY 08/09 GRANT CYCLE
  Receive information about the schedule for submitting Bicycle Transportation Account applications for the FY 2008/09 funding cycle.
   
8. CENTRAL COAST ITS IMPLEMENTATION PLAN
  Receive presentation on the Central Coast Intelligent Transportation Systems (CCITS) Implementation Plan.
   
9. PROGRAMMING WEBPAGE\PROJECT DATABASE
  Receive a presentation on SBCAG's new programming webpage and the EZ Trak project database that is accessible to local agencies and Caltrans via the internet.
   
10. GRANT WORKSHOP
  Receive information on a workshop "Preparing Competitive Grant Applications for Safe Routes to School, Bicycle Transportation Account and Highway Safety Improvement Programs".
