The Technical Transportation Advisory Committee is an advisory body to the Santa Barbara County Association of Governments.  TTAC members include staff representatives of each city, the county, Caltrans, APCD, and the Santa Barbara Metropolitan Transit District

 In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations to participate in the meeting should contact SBCAG at least three working days prior to the scheduled meeting.

1.     CALL TO ORDER AND INTRODUCTIONS
   
2. PUBLIC COMMENT
 

The public may address the Technical Transportation Advisory Committee on any subject within the jurisdiction of the committee that is not included as part of the agenda.  Comments shall be limited fifteen minutes, divided among those desiring to speak, but no person shall speak longer than five minutes. 

   
3. MINUTES
  Approve the minutes of August 3, 2006.
4. REGIONAL SURFACE TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM
  Discuss programming options for RSTP funds in FYs 07/08 and 08/09 received in a CMAQ/STP exchange with the Sacramento Area Council of Governments and make a recommendation to the SBCAG Board.
   
5. REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION PLAN
  Receive presentation and provide comments on draft chapters of 2006 RTP.
   
6. FREEWAY SERVICE PATROL
  Receive a report on the first six months of operation of the Freeway Service Patrol.
   
7. FTA 5307 funding
  Approve an FTIP Amendment to program FTA 5307 funding for SMAT, COLT and SBMTD for FYs 06/07, 07/08 and 08/09.
   
8. STIP CONTRACT AWARDS
  Receive a report on changes to the STIP program guidelines that require that contracts be awarded within six months of a construction allocation by the CTC.
   
9. ITS SOUTH COAST HIGHWAY 101 MASTER PLAN
  Receive a report on an ITS South Coast Highway 101 Master Plan to be prepared by SBCAG staff in consultation with a team of local agency and Caltrans representatives.
   
10. ANNOUNCEMENTS
  In September, the SBCAG Board approved a one year contract for "ProjectTrak" database for use by SBCAG staff and member agencies.
   
  Call for Projects for Cycle 7 Safe Routes to School Program will be announced in October by Caltrans.
