The Technical Planning Advisory Committee is an advisory body to the Santa Barbara County Association of Governments.  TPAC members include staff representatives of each city, the county, and APCD.

 In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations to participate in the meeting should contact SBCAG at least three working days prior to the scheduled meeting.

1.     CALL TO ORDER AND INTRODUCTIONS
   
2. PUBLIC COMMENT
 

The public may address the Technical Planning Advisory Committee on any subject within the jurisdiction of the committee that is not included as part of the agenda.  Comments shall be limited fifteen minutes, divided among those desiring to speak, but no person shall speak longer than five minutes. 

   
3. MINUTES
 

Approve Minutes of May 6, 2010.

   
4. REGIONAL TRAVEL FORECAST
  Review responses to comments on the socioeconomic data and allocations presented at the May meeting.
   
5. SB-375
  A.

Receive SBCAG letter submitted to Air Resources Board (ARB) on Greenhouse Gas target setting for SBCAG region.

     
  B. Receive summary of May special meeting of ARB Regional Targets Advisory Committee and subsequent follow-up
     
  C. Review GHG target for SBCAG region (Placeholder for discussion since target not received at time of posting).
     
  D. Recommend presentation and discussion topics for joint workshop with TTAC on SB-375.
     
  E. Receive status report on Draft Proposition 84 Grants and recommend that SBCAG apply for Grant to assist in complying with SB-375 requirements.
     
  F. Review and discuss regional land use model objectives and model software options to comply with SB-375 and appoint subcommittee of TPAC to assist SBCAG staff in land use model selection.
   
6. LEGISLATIVE PROGRAM
  Review and comment on state legislative platform for FY 2010/11.
   
7. ANNOUNCEMENTS
  Local agency updates.
   
8. ADJOURN
  Regularly scheduled next meeting date (first Thursday of the month) is Thursday, August 5, 2010.
