The Technical Planning Advisory Committee is an advisory body to the Santa Barbara County Association of Governments.  TPAC members include staff representatives of each city, the county, and APCD.

 In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations to participate in the meeting should contact SBCAG at least three working days prior to the scheduled meeting.

2. PUBLIC COMMENT
 

The public may address the Technical Planning Advisory Committee on any subject within the jurisdiction of the committee that is not included as part of the agenda.  Comments shall be limited fifteen minutes, divided among those desiring to speak, but no person shall speak longer than five minutes. 

   
3. MINUTES
  Approve June 2, 2005 TPAC Minutes.
4. REGIONAL BLUEPRINT PLANNING GRANT PROGRAM
  A. Receive presentation on State Business, Housing and Transportation Regional Blueprint Planning Grant Program.
     
  B. Advise of potential support and endorsement in overall effort or reduced scope focusing on development of collaborative Geographic Information System (GIS) coverage for use in future land use modeling.
     
  C. Describe GIS applications and coverage for your agency, what GIS resources you can provide towards this effort, and what the most useful product would be from this project.
   
5. REGIONAL GROWTH FORECAST
  Assess comparability of latest population estimates from Department of Finance with SBCAG Regional Growth Forecast.
   
6. LOCAL PLANNING ACTIVITIES
  Update on local planning activities in your area.
   
7. ITEMS FOR FUTURE CONSIDERATION
  Local agency recommendations for items on subsequent TPAC agendas.
