The South Coast Subregional Planning Committee (SCSPC) is a Board subcommittee of the Santa Barbara County Association of Governments.

Approve meeting summary of the March 1, 2017 meeting of the South Coast Subregional Planning Committee.
|4.||RAIL CONSULTANT UPDATE (verbal)|
COASTAL EXPRESS MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
Review revised Memorandum of Understanding with the Ventura County Transportation Commission and recommend board approval at their May 18th meeting following review by the Coastal Express Policy Advisory Committee on May 11th.
GOLETA TRAIN STATION REQUEST FOR FUNDING
Consider request by the City of Goleta to use $11.2 million in Measure A South Coast Rail Program funds to purchase a parcel adjacent to the Goleta train station, construct a structure to house a passenger waiting area, restaurant, and community meeting room, and increase parking capacity.
HIGHWAY 246 PASSING LANES
Receive an update on an item presented to the North County Subregional committee regarding funding options for the Highway 246 Passing Lanes which could potentially have an affect future STIP shares for Highway 101 HOV.
HIGHWAY 101/LINDEN CASITAS TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT PLAN
Approve recommendations to the SBCAG board to:
a. Authorize Chair to sign a contract amendment with Ayars and Associates to augment costs of community relations component of the Traffic Management Plan (TMP) for the Linden Casitas Interchange project by $25,000 for FY 16-17.
b. Authorize Chair to sign a MOU with Easy Lift for local transit service to serve needs of Carpinteria community due construction-related closures at a cost not to exceed $150,000.
