Transit Advisory Committee on any matter listed on the agenda by
completing and delivering to the Clerk a speaker slip before the item is
considered. Matters not listed on the agenda may be addressed during the
public comment item on the agenda. Further information on agenda items
can be obtained in the SBCAG Office, 260 North San Antonio Rd., Suite B,
|1.||CALL TO ORDER AND INTRODUCTIONS|
The public may address the Santa Barbara County Transit Advisory Council on any matter within the jurisdiction of the Committee that is not included as part of the agenda. Comments shall be limited fifteen minutes, divided among those desiring to speak, but no person shall speak longer than five minutes.
Approve SBCTAC minutes of October 4, 2017.
Receive nominations and elect SBCTAC Chair and Vice Chair for 2018.
UNMET TRANSIT NEEDS (Information Item)|
A. Receive summary of unmet transit needs input from public hearings and other sources, and discuss next steps.
B. Receive presentation by Santa Maria Area Transit (SMAT) and City of Lompoc Transit (COLT) on input received from local unmet needs public workshops.
STATE TRANSIT ASSISTANCE FAREBOX
REVENUE FUNDING OVERVIEW (Information Item)|
Receive overview of STA Farebox Revenue funding and update on STA funding generated by the Clean Air Express service.
FY 18/19 OVERALL WORK PROGRAM PROJECTS
Provide input on work tasks for SBCAG’s new Overall Work Program for FY 2018/19.
A. Santa Maria – San Luis Obispo Transportation Connectivity Study completed. The SBCAG Board accepted the study’s findings during its November 16, 2017 meeting.
B. Clean Air Express operations contract awarded.
The next regularly scheduled meeting is Wednesday, January 3, 2018.
