 In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations to participate in the meeting should contact SBCAG at least three working days prior to the scheduled meeting.

1.     CALL TO ORDER AND INTRODUCTIONS
   
2. PUBLIC COMMENT
 

The public may address the Santa Barbara County Transit Advisory Council on any matter  within the jurisdiction of the Committee that is not included as part of the agenda.  Comments shall be limited fifteen minutes, divided among those desiring to speak, but no person shall speak longer than five minutes. 

   
3. MINUTES
  Approve SBCTAC minutes of February 8, 2012.
   
4. SBCTAC MEMBERSHIP AND BYLAWS
  A. Discuss draft amendments to Santa Barbara Transit Advisory Committee (SBCTAC) bylaws shown in Attachment 1 and recommend SBCAG Board adoption.
   
  B. Discuss suggested SBCTAC member appointments shown in Attachment 2 and recommend SBCAG Board adoption.
   
5. JARC AND NEW FREEDOM CANDIDATE PROJECTS
A. Review and recommend approval of project rankings for Section 5316 (Jobs Access and Reverse Commute) and Section 5317 (New Freedom) applications
B. Recommend submittal of Section 5316 applications to Caltrans for the Clean Air Express Reverse Commute operations project, South Coast Commuter Rail Operation project, and Traffic Solutions Carpool project.
6. SANTA MARIA TRANSIT OPEN HOUSES
Receive presentation by City of Santa Maria staff on input from the open houses regarding the Breeze expansion and SMAT service refinements.

The next regularly scheduled meeting date is Wednesday, April 11, 2012 (second Wednesday of the month).
