 In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations to participate in the meeting should contact SBCAG at least three working days prior to the scheduled meeting.

 

1.     CALL TO ORDER AND INTRODUCTIONS
   
2. PUBLIC COMMENT
 

The public may address the Santa Barbara County Transit Advisory Council on any matter  within the jurisdiction of the Committee that is not included as part of the agenda.  Comments shall be limited fifteen minutes, divided among those desiring to speak, but no person shall speak longer than five minutes. 

   
3. IN MEMORIAL
  Recognize contributions of SBCTAC member Julie Guzman who died unexpectedly in January (Julie was on SBCTAC since its inception and was also a member of SCTAC - South Coast Transit Advisory Council), which was the predecessor to SBCTAC, for many years).
4. MINUTES
  Approve SBCTAC minutes of December 11, 2007.
   
5. UNMET TRANSIT NEEDS
  A. Discuss and provide direction on input received by SBCAG on Unmet Transit Needs.
     
  B. Discuss and provide direction on input from City of Lompoc Transit workshop held January 8, 2008.
     
  C. Discuss and provide direction on input from Santa Maria Area Transit workshop held November 17, 2007.
     
  D. Discuss and provide direction on input related to Santa Barbara Metropolitan Transit District.
     
6. LOMPOC TO SANTA YNEZ REGIONAL TRANSIT SERVICE
  Receive a status report on implementation of transit service between Lompoc, Buellton, and Solvang.
   
7. FTA SECTION 5310, 5311(f) JARC, NEW FREEDOM, AND 5310 GRANT PROGRAMS
  Receive information on the availability of Federal Transit Administration funding through the 5310, 5311(f), Jobs Access/Reverse Commute and New Freedom call for projects.
   
8. MEASURE D RENEWAL
  Receive a report on the Measure D Renewal public outreach effort and public opinion survey.
9. ANNOUNCEMENTS

  Tentative next meeting date is Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 1:30 p.m.
