Directions:  From Highway 101, exist onto CA 246/Buellton.  Heading west (0.6 mile), turn left onto Industrial Way (0.1 mile).  Major land marks include Andersen's Pea Soup on the corner of 246 and Avenue of the Flags, with Industrial Way being the second left past this intersection.

In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations to participate in the meeting should contact SBCAG at least three working days prior to the scheduled meeting.

The public may address the Santa Barbara County Transit Advisory Council on any matter  within the jurisdiction of the Committee that is not included as part of the agenda.  Comments shall be limited fifteen minutes, divided among those desiring to speak, but no person shall speak longer than five minutes. 

   
3. MINUTES
  Approve SBCTAC Minutes of July 12, 2005.
4. MTD DISABLED BUS PASS
  Review and comment on proposal by MTD to change the name of the disabled bus pass.
   
5. DEFINITIONS OF UNMET NEED AND REASONABLE TO MEET
  A. Review definitions of unmet transit need and reasonable to meet used by SBCAG and others.
     
  B. Appoint sub-committee to review existing definitions and draft up changes as deemed appropriate.
     
6. NORTH COUNTY TRANSIT PLAN
 

Review and recommend release of Request for Proposal for Northern Santa Barbara County Transit Plan

   
7. TRANSIT SERVICE OPERATIONS
  A. Receive an overview of the Clean Air Express and Coastal Express by Kent Epperson, Traffic Solutions, SBCAG.
     
  B. Consider requesting individual transit operators to provide an overview of their system at successive SBCTAC meetings to provide committee members with an overview of transit operations in the County.
     
8. VANPOOL DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM
  Receive progress report by Matt Dobberteen, County Public Works.
