The North County Subregional Planning Committee (NCSPC) is a Board subcommittee of the Santa Barbara County Association of Governments.

STATE LOCAL PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM

Receive a report on the State Local Partnership cost savings realized from the Union Valley Parkway Phase III.

   
6. HIGHWAY 166 IMPROVEMENTS
A.

Receive status report on progress made on Measure A funded Highway 166 Improvements

B.

Recommend to SBCAG board approval of a Contract Amendment No. 1 with Psomas at a cost of $160,000 for environmental, preliminary engineering, partial detailed design, and railroad coordination for the Hwy 1/166 intersection project.

C.

Receive an update from Caltrans on the Highway 166 Guadalupe Ditches project

   
7.

BICYCLE \ PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS: HWY 246 \ SANTA YNEZ RIVER

  Discuss request by City of Lompoc to use Regional Surface Transportation program (RSTP) cost savings from the Allan Hancock Bikeway Connector project to conduct a feasibility study for bicycle/pedestrian improvements across the Santa Ynez River in the Highway 246 corridor.
   
8. CALTRANS PLANNING GRANTS
  Review and comment on proposed Caltrans Transportation Planning Grant applications for funding to support the following three projects: (1) a Central Coast origin/destination survey, (2) the North County Transit Systems Plan update, and (3) an Infill Development and Airport Land Use Compatibility Study, and the use of Measure A and other funds as a local match.
