The North County Subregional Planning Committee (NCSPC) is a Board subcommittee of the Santa Barbara County Association of Governments.

In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations to participate in the meeting should contact SBCAG at least three working days prior to the scheduled meeting.

3. MEETING SUMMARY
 

Approve meeting summary of the December 7, 2011 meeting of the North County Subregional Planning Committee.

HIGHWAY 166 SAFETY AND OPERATIONAL IMPROVEMENTS

A.

Receive a presentation from Caltrans on the Hwy 166 Ditches Project.

B. Recommend that the SBCAG board:
I. Approve seven (7) safety and operational improvement projects for funding with Measure A, STIP and other local and state matching funding.
II. Authorize the Board Chair to sign a letter to Caltrans requesting that they fund two projects in the 166 corridor in the 2014 SHOPP or one of their other maintenance programs.
III. Allocate $150,000 in SAFE funding to two projects that will increase motorist safety and communication on Highway 166 East and Highway 33 in the Cuyama Valley.

MEASURE A NORTH COUNTY SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL, BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN PROGRAM

Receive the scoring committee’s funding recommendations for Cycle 1 and recommend projects for funding to the SBCAG Board.
