The Measure A Citizens Oversight Committee is an advisory body to the Santa Barbara County Association of Governments.  Committee members are appointed by the SBCAG Board. 

In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations to participate in the meeting should contact SBCAG at least three working days prior to the scheduled meeting.

 

 
1.     CALL TO ORDER AND INTRODUCTIONS
   
2. PUBLIC COMMENT
 

The public may address the Measure A Citizens Oversight Committee on any matter within the jurisdiction of the Committee that is not included as part of this agenda. Comments shall be limited to fifteen minutes, divided among those desiring to speak, but no person shall speak longer than five minutes.

SUMMARY

 

Approve the February 23, 2011 meeting summary.

   
4. PROGRAM OF PROJECTS
  Review and comment on the draft Measure A program of projects for FYs 11/12 to 15/16.
   
5. RAIL & INTERREGIONAL TRANSIT SERVICE PLANNING
 

Recommend using Measure A Passenger and Commuter Rail and Interregional Transit Program funds as a local match for a grant application to conduct a Central Coast vehicle license plate survey in partnership with the San Luis Obispo Council of Governments and the Ventura County Transportation Commission.

MEASURE A PUBLIC INFORMATION PROGRAM

 

Discuss development of a Public Information Program for Measure A.

   
7. FINANCIAL ADVISOR
 

Recommend the board authorize release of a request for proposal to retain the services of a Measure A program financial advisor.

   
8. PROJECT UPDATES
  Receive an update on Measure A Projects and Programs.
   
9. MEASURE A MAINTENANCE OF EFFORT
  Receive an update on Measure A Maintenance of Effort (MOE) amounts for local agencies for FY 2011-2012.
